Install the remapped Tiziana geometries pcf file
A valid alternative to the standard Victoria V1 or V2 geometries file
When I created the Tiziana For Victoria model, I modified the original geometries UV-map
for allow to paint a detailed texture in the genital zone.
The Tiziana geometries are identical to those of Victoria, the only difference is the separate
genital UV-map
.
The DAZ copyright doesn't allow to distribute the Victoria geometries in wavefront-object format.
For this reason, I must codified the remapped geometries file in a PCF file format.
The codifies it is possible with the ObjactonMover program by Maz
(thanks Maz!).
In this way the Daz copyright is safeguarded.
There is only a small problem...
When Daz has released the Victoria V2 model, the geometries file name has been modified.
The old Victoria geometries files began with a lower case character:
"blMilWom.obj"
The new Victoria V2 geometries file begins with a Upper case character:
"BlMilWom.obj"
This modification is indifferent for Poser, the Poser program reads the lower case letters or the capitals in the same way.
Other programs instead notice this modification, as ex. ObjactonMover by Maz
(Mover 1.01 PCF Coder/Decoder).
If you must decode a Pcf file that refers the geometries of Victoria V1 or V2, You could receive an error from the ObjactonMover program.
For fix this error and convert the pcf file in the correct way, you can rename the Victoria geometries file from "blMilWom.obj" to "BlMilWom.obj"
(You must change the first character of the file name and convert it in capital)
This change doesn't exclude the possibility to use the standard Victoria character or
other characters that use Victoria geometries file, Poser ignores the lower case or capital.
There are two my products that use the remapped Victoria geometries encoded in a PCF file:
Tiziana for Vicky
and Young Victoria character
If you don't have these products, you can however download the geometries
for get a detailed map of the Victoria genital zone.
If you don't want to rename the victoria geometrie file, you can download the the appropriate PCF file in this site.
You owe only check which type of geometries has your Victoria:
The Victoria geometries file location is this:
../Runtime/Geometries/ZygotePeople/
If you have the old Victoria V1 geometries file, the file name is this:
../Runtime/Geometries/ZygotePeople/blMilWom.obj
then you must download this PCF file: PCF file for Old Victoria V1 geometries
otherwise
If you have the Victoria V2 geometries file, the file name is this:
../Runtime/Geometries/ZygotePeople/BlMilWom.obj
then you must download this PCF file: PCF file for Victoria V2 geometries
Decode Tiziana_02.pcf file
1-Bring up Mover 1.01 PCF
Coder/Decoder by Maz and Click
on the the button "Seed file". Select this file:
..\Runtime\Geometries\ZygotePeople\BlMilWom.obj
2-Select the menu "Function" Option: "Decode"
(some blue arrow appear). Click on the button "Difference File"
Select the file:
..\Runtime\Geometries\apgeometrie\Tiziana_02.pcf
3-Click on the button "Convert".
Mover automatically creates and saves a new object file:
..\Runtime\Geometries\apgeometrie\Tiziana_02.obj
Remember that the file Tiziana_02.obj must always stay in the folder:
..\Runtime\Geometries\apgeometrie\
Perhaps... you now are thinking:
"But in that way can I use these geometries if I don't have one of your two products?"
No problems, I explain you!
Open your preferred Victoria character (cr2 file) with Notepad or any other text editor
(as ex.
Araneae free text editor)
The line that refers to the Victoria geometries is this:
"figureResFile :Runtime:Geometries:ZygotePeople:blMilWom.obj"
You must change these words:"ZygotePeople:blMilWom.obj"
with these words: apgeometrie:Tiziana_02.obj
For do this use the text editor menu function "Search" and "Replace" and use the option
Find what:ZygotePeople:blMilWom.obj
Replace with: apgeometrie:Tiziana_02.obj option Replace All.
In this way your Text editor will change two lines automatically.
Now save the cr2 file as a NEW NAME otherwise you owerwrite you cr2 file.
This new character is identical to what you have chosen, but it has a new map!
